Many of the children at Lao Wang's Orphanage unfortunately have special needs. Most of these children with special needs require at least one surgery. The most common problems are cleft pallates and heart related issues. However, the majority of the surgeries needed are not urgent, therefore we spend most of our time working for their primary needs. When a child requires an urgent surgery, we will raise funds for that specific child rather than use money designated for helping the entire orphanage.
