Funds for a child needing medical care
Many of the children we help unfortunately have special needs.  Most of these children require at least one surgery.  The most common problems are cleft pallates and heart related issues. However, the majority of the surgeries needed are not urgent, therefore we spend most of our time working for their primary needs.  When a child requires an urgent surgery, we will raise funds for that specific child rather than use money designated for the our regular projects. If you would like to donate your services or money towards the surgery of a child in need, please contact us donate@mifanmama.com


Help sponsor the education of orphans
Some of our children want to further their studies but without sponsorship they can not.  Do you want to help a child have the same opportunities as your own. There is a fund generated by regular donars to help children recieve education they otherwise would not this can cost 5-10,000rmb a year, if you are interested contact us on donate@mifanmama.com.

Buy a book "In a Chinese Orphanage"
Photographed, Edited and Published by Anna Willett and Dominica Drazal. This book records the daily lives of orphans at Lao Wang as noted on a visit by Anna who stayed at the orphanage in the winter of 2011 just to see what actually goes on and to be able to then put together something that helped to improve their lives.   Sponsored by Westpac Banking Corporation the book is on sale for 150rmb and 100% of proceeds are donated to the education of orphans, administered by Mifan Mama.  If you want a copy or to enquire more about this book contact anna on annamwillett@yahoo.com.au.
